Scott came to work for MCS in May of 1984 with his father Bob Gleason and never left. During his tenure, Scott has become the President of MCS and was a driving factor in the development of PHA-Web. Currently, he spends most of his time attending housing conferences, demonstrating PHA-Web and training clients. Chances are, you've already met Scott!
Nick began employment with MCS in March of 2000. Over the years, Nick has done a little bit of everything from hardware and network setup to programming and support. Currently, Nick oversees new clients transitioning to PHA-Web, including oversight and scheduling of all data conversions and new client trainings. Nick also plays a vital role in the design, development and continued visions for the PHA-Web software.
Joe joined MCS in August of 2019 after seven years in the financial industry. He is not only the VP of Finance for MCS, but he has also fully immersed himself in our Cross-Functional products, such as Document Imaging, our PIC Submission Services and the Landlord, Tenant, and Applicant portals. You've likely done trainings with Joe to learn the ropes on our portals or any other cross-functional products that compliment the core PHA-Web software.
Jessica has been with PHA-Web since 2016 and is currently our VP of Client Services. She enjoys consulting and training new and existing software users to help them better understand and utilize the PHA-Web software more efficiently. Jessica manages many trainings for new and existing clients, and will be able to help answer just about any PHA-Web question you have!
Jessi joined the PHA-Web team in 2023 and immediately immersed herself into the software, quickly mastering the many components and tools of PHA-Web. Starting on the Support team, it was her ability to connect with clients and thoroughly explain questions and/or issues, that made it clear, a role as a Software Trainer was her most valuable place at PHA-Web. Jessi is an excellent addition to the team and we are excited to have her at this year’s conference!
Barbara began working at MCS in July of 2012 as the Software Support Manager. She is now currently the VP of Business Services. Barbara is responsible for various managerial tasks such as payroll, client billing, as well as new client proposals and contracts. Her organization, and ability to juggle multiple tasks for both clients and employees, only adds to her vital role at MCS. In addition, she is one of the major contributors in planning our User Conferences! We are so happy she is here with us and ready to help you with any conference related questions!
Penny joined the PHA-Web team in April of 2020 as an Office Manager. She handles the drafting of proposals, contracts and various administrative tasks alongside Barb! With our continued growth and integration of portals over the last few years, Penny has had her work cut out for her drafting proposals and updating contracts promptly and accurately! She is very excited to be back with everyone at our second User Conference and will be assisting with registration and any questions you may have related to the conference agenda. Be sure to say hi!
Cory has been with PHA-Web since 2021 and is currently our Client Support Manager. He likely needs no introduction, as most of you have probably talked to (or requested) him when submitting a support ticket. Cory was a quick study on PHA-Web’s core and financial components, and excelled at helping new employees master PHA-Web, which promoted him to his current role overseeing all of Support. We are very pleased he is joining us at this year's conference, to help run the new Support Corner. The Support Corner is a resource to help answer more specific questions that you might have during the conference.
Kevin has been with PHA-Web since 2022, as a part of our Software Support team. Most of you, at one time or another, have likely spoken with Kevin. He always receives high praise from our clients for his helpfulness and ability to answer support questions thoroughly, which moved him into a role as Support Team Leader. With his knowledge of the software and familiarity with most of our clients, we are very happy he is at this year’s conference. He, Cory and Justin will be running the Support Corner, please make your way over to them with any questions more specific to your housing authority in between breakout sessions.
Justin started at PHA-Web in 2023 as part of our Software Support team. Quickly learning the components and features of our software and becoming a go-to for his teammates on elevated questions, he earned his position as Support Team Leader. This will be his first time attending our User Conference and we are very happy to have him, Cory, and Kevin running our Support Corner to help with questions related more specifically to your housing authority, or ones that pop up in between sessions. Emma joined the PHA-Web team in 2022 and is one of our Project Managers. Emma comes from a background in project management and client experience, where she fine-tuned her talents in multi-tasking, organization, and communication. This translates to her role with PHA-Web by keeping project development on time and client experience high! She and Sidney manage, implement and oversee upcoming projects, integrations and events for PHA-Web - including the 2024 PHA-Web User Conference. Make sure to say hi if you see her, as we are very excited to have her at this conference to assist you all with any conference-related questions you may have.
Sidney started with the PHA-Web team in 2022 and works alongside Emma as one of our Project Managers. Sidney comes from a seven-year background in sales and client management. Sidney and Emma manage, implement and oversee projects, integrations, and events for PHA-Web to create the best experience for both our clients and employees. Sidney is very excited to be at this year’s conference and meet all of you in person, as well as be available to help with any questions you have or anything you may need while at the conference!
Dillon joined the PHA-Web team in 2021 as a Data Conversion Analyst. He is the one working behind the scenes to convert the data from each housing authority's legacy software to PHA-Web when they first onboard; helping to ensure a smooth transition and allow for a streamlined training experience. With a background in IT, we are happy to have him at this year’s conference to assist with presentations and any technical issues that may come up.

This class will cover the available options for tracking rent and subsidy when residents in units managed by your agency are receiving voucher subsidy from an external entity. This will include billing rent, billing subsidy, receiving rent and subsidy payments, viewing account and subsidy histories and various reporting.

This class will cover Work Order functions included in the Work Order Manager in PHA-Web. This will include adding work orders, completing work orders, task templates, priorities, adding employee notification options, fixed assets and inventory.

This class will cover the most common functions of LIHTC programs in the General Certification Manager. This will include production of Tenant Income Certification (TIC) forms, production of NAHMA XML files for submission to State Housing Mortgage Finance Agencies, as well as producing letters, notifications and a variety of reports.
